It has a pier measuring 183 meters long and 17 meters wide, covering an area of ​​3,103 square meters. It has two berthing areas: one measuring 135 meters long and 7 to 8 meters deep, and the other measuring 25 meters long and 2 to 5 meters deep.

The Port of Pemba has a storage area of ​​20,000 square meters, with a single warehouse of 1,800 square meters. The terminal is served by a 25-ton gantry crane, seven forklifts with capacities ranging from 2.5 to 28 tons, and two tractors.
